Angela Kay (Hulsey) Welsch, known to some family members as "K.K", 53 of Alma, AR, passed from this earthly world on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 in Fort Smith.
Angela was a true believer in God. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and a special education teacher at Euper Lane Elementary School in Fort Smith. She loved to travel extensively throughout the U.S. with her family, especially her niece, Ashley. Her favorite place to go was Disneyworld. She was known for her love of animals. Not only did she care for and own five dogs, but she also fostered for the Artemis Project.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Robert Welsch.
She is survived by her parents James and Virginia Hulsey of Fort Smith; daughter Emily Welsch of Little Rock; son George Andrew Welsch of Bentonville; three brothers: Dennis and wife Patrice Hulsey of Fort Smith, Brian Hulsey of Alma, and Carl Hulsey of Chicago, IL; niece Ashley Hulsey of Fort Smith; nephew Christopher Hulsey of Fort Smith; aunt Sharon and husband Jim Winn of Fort Smith; and uncle Clinton and wife Arlene Hulsey of Broken Arrow, OK.
The visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will occur on the following day, Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Temple Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor David Moon.
