Anna VaDell Philpot Willhite, age 82,of Mena, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 3rd, 2026. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Dell was born on February 27, 1944, along with her twin sister, Nell, in Sonora, California to Owen and Helen Philpot. Dell said 3 days before she passed that she had never felt the love of God so strongly. Dell loved God and her Cherry Hill Church family immensely and loved singing for them. She also loved caring for her flowers and yard. She absolutely loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by her faithful companion of 13 years, her dog, Toby.
Dell was preceded is death by her parents, Owen and Helen Philpot, her infant daughter, Barbara, her son, Donald Beck, her brother, Jim Philpot, her sister, Judy Cannon, son in law, Curtis Symens.
Dell is survived by her daughters, Deanna Beck and Denise Symens. Her son, Daniel Beck. Her granddaughter Morgan Symens and grandson Mitchell Symens. Her loving sisters, Nell Langston and Mary Ryals. And a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to thank Elite Hospice for their excellent care. Dell was sent for cremation.
A memorial service will be held at the Cherry Hill Gospel Church on March 29, 2026 after the 5th Sunday singing. Dell will be laid to rest at the Cox-Head Cemetery at a later date.
