Betty N. Williamson, lovingly known as “Kathy,” passed away on September 1, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 69.
Kathy was born on October 8, 1955, in Mesa, Arizona, to Andrew Jackson Hollan Jr. and Elolene Lucille (Walden) Hollan. She married Bruce Standifer and together built a life rooted in love, family, and faith.
Kathy worked for many years at Whirlpool, where she dedicated herself before retiring. Outside of her career, she devoted her time to her greatest joys: her family and her home. Known as “Best Grandma Ever,” Kathy poured her heart into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially loved cooking for her family, with breakfast being her favorite time to gather and nurture her loved ones. She also enjoyed caring for her cats, playing Yahtzee, and spending time with her granddaughters and great-granddaughter.
She will be remembered as one of the most loving, caring, and compassionate people anyone could know, a true angel on earth. To her family, she was the greatest mom, grandmother, and mother-in-law anyone could ask for. Her kindness and devotion will forever be treasured by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her son, Jamey Burnett and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Ryilee, Amberlee, and Emylee; great-granddaughter, Paisley; siblings, Jackey Hollan, Connie Simmons, and Dener Hollan; and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elolene L. Hollan and Andrew J. Hollan Jr.; her husband, Bruce Standifer; siblings, Joe Hollan, Bobby Hollan, and John Hollan; and her nephew, Shaun Hollan.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
