Billie Turner

Billie (Bill) Turner, 77, was called home to his Heavenly Father on January 18, 2025. Born on September 3, 1947, in San Luis Obispo, California, he was the cherished son of Willie Hobbs and Leon Turner. Bill grew up surrounded by love and was always a devoted brother.

In September 1966, Bill married the love of his life, Rita Turner, in Farmersville, California. Together, they built a beautiful life, filled with 58 years of memories, laughter, and love. Bill’s unwavering faith and dedication to his family made him a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon Turner and Willie Hobbs; his brothers, David Turner and Tommy Johnson; and his grandsons, Jackson and Jerimiah Waldmann.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Turner; their two children, Rhdon Maxfield and Curtis Turner; and his five grandchildren, Charli Maxfield, Courtney Campbell, Codi Turner, Zane Turner, and Colton Turner. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Mace Campbell, Nathan Campbell, Tristlynn Waldmann, and Izik Waldmann, along with his brother, Rick Johnson.

The family will hold a graveside service on February 1, 2025 at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00p.m. Cremation arrangements are being made under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
