Boune Somphounout, age 59, passed away peacefully in his home among family and friends on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born September 8, 1965, in Vientiane, Laos, to Khoune Somphounout and Chanh Keoonseng. Boune is survived by his wife, Kesone Phommachanh of Fort Smith; his son, Christfa Somphounout of Fort Smith; his daughters, Masella Somphounout of Fort Smith; and Victoria Somphounout of Fort Smith; his parents, Khoune Somphounout and Chanh Keoonseng of Fort Smith; step-mother, Khampane Linthipphavong of Fort Smith; his sister, Sunny Thongkham of Fort Smith; his brother, Banhdith Somphounout of Van Buren; his nephews, Moonsa M. Thongkham of Van Buren; and Tommy Somphounout of Fort Smith; and his nieces, Starr Somphounout of Oklahoma; Phonetip Christy Khamvongsa of Fort Smith; and Mouknida Summer Thongkham of Fort Smith. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
