Brenda King

Brenda King, age 77, passed away on February 13, 2026 at Covington Court health and rehab, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on October 10, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Dave and Marylee (McAlister) King. 

Brenda found simple joy in life’s quiet moments, especially while working on puzzles, which she approached with patience and determination. She was a deeply spiritual woman whose faith guided her heart and strengthened her throughout her life. Above all, Brenda was a cherished grandmother who treasured time spent with her family. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and loving presence will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Brenda is survived by one child; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Marylee (McAlister) King; her loving husband, Russell Kenney; one child; as well as one sibling.

Her family will host a private memorial service for Brenda at a later date. Cremation is entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
