Cathy Jo Hacker

Cathy Jo Hacker of Fort Smith, age 70, passed peacefully on February 9, 2025. Born on March 18, 1954, Cathy was a beloved daughter and sister.

A devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, Cathy was a great believer in Jesus Christ. She always ended a conversation with God Bless You, sharing her faith and compassion with all who knew her.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents; Joe David & Shirley Hacker; and her brother Johnny Hacker.

Cathy is survived by her ex-spouse and close friend, Jimmy Hackworth; her daughter, Samara Hackworth and fiancé Steve Kilpatrick of Peoria, AZ; her grandchild, Jaci Wells; her two brothers, Joseph David Hacker Jr. of Fort Smith and Mitch Hacker of Oklahoma City; and nieces and nephews: Aimee Hacker of Oklahoma City; Quinda Lane and husband Josh of Alma; and Jessie Gossett and husband Tim of Greenwood.

The family will host a memorial service in Cathy's memory at a later date. Cremation under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
