Charles Ray Hankins

Charles Ray Hankins, age 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Charles was born August 15, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ivan Ardell Hankins and Mary Margaret (Fogliasso) Hankins. Charles loved fishing, camping and the outdoors. He was of the Church of Christ faith, and was a loving father and grandfather. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Hankins; two children, Matthew and wife Cyndi Hankins; and Chris and wife Kara Hankins; four grandchildren; his mother, Mary Hankins; sisters, Mary Sheriff, Shirley Holt, and Sharon Steele; along with many more extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Ardell Hankins. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later time. Cremation is under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
