Charles Eugene “Charlie” Morris, age 49, of Mountainburg, Arkansas, passed away on May 28, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1977, to Lawrence Leo Morris and Gracie Ann Morris Pegg in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Charlie was a lifelong Arkansas resident and a proud graduate of Northside High School in Fort Smith. He found great joy in listening to music and spending quality time with his family and friends. Charlie cherished his faith and valued the fellowship and sense of community he found among his church family as he attended Grand Avenue Baptist Church.

Charlie is survived by his son, Dustin Eugene Morris, and his daughter, Alyssa Ann Morris. He is also survived by his brothers, Herbert Leo Morris and David Edward Morris; his niece, Hailey Morris; his aunts: Cindy “Bossy” Phillips and husband Butch; Frances “Snuggles” Aldridge and husband Larry; Marry Morris, and Sharon Morris; his uncle, Glenn Pegg and wife Eva; and many beloved cousins, friends, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Leo Morris and Gracie Ann Morris; his brother, Chris Allen Morris; and his aunt, Susie “Boo Boo” Ramsey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
