Cleatis Wesley Geoates of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on June 18, 1964, in Fort Smith to Donald Woodrow Geoates and Jackie Lee (Kelley) Geoates, Cleatis lived a life full of laughter, love, and a wide range of skills.
Known as a "Jack of all Trades," Cleatis had a unique ability to fix anything. His sense of humor was infectious, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. Cleatis was also passionate about dancing and enjoyed countless hours playing pool. When it was time to unwind, he cherished the peace of nature or the warmth of a fire pit. Cleatis will be missed deeply by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cleatis is survived by his three brothers, Mark Geoates, Donnie Geoates, Paul Railey; the best sister ever, Donna Brown; and special friends, Steven Bailey, Moe Hargrove, and Brian Bugg. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Donald Woodrow Geoates and Jackie Lee (Kelley) Geoates.
There will be a memorial service in his honor at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Highway. The family also invites guests reception following the service at his brother Mark's home.
