Connie Sue Dehart

Connie Sue Dehart, Age 66, passed away on February 28, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on January 26, 1960 in Van Buren, Arkansas, to James and Patricia Faye (Perryman) Ross. 

Connie cherished time spent outdoors, whether camping beneath the open sky, casting a line while fishing, or nurturing her beloved garden. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and enjoyed exploring her creativity through arts and crafts. Most importantly, Connie will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose kindness, strength, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her family. 

She is survived by her companion, Mike Osman; daughter, Michelle Schnirring of Van Buren, Arkansas; son, James Charlie Dehart of Van Buren, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Lily Walls of Harrison, Arkansas, Andrew Walls of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jameson Dehart of Van Buren, Arkansas; one sister, Patricia Jarrels of North Carolina; along with two brothers, Darryl Ross of Rudy, Arkansas, Michael Ross of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, James and Patricia Faye (Perryman) Ross; one sister, Pearl Iirene; as well as three brothers Earl Ross, Gary Ross, and Jimmy Ross.

There are no services scheduled at this time, cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
