Dorothy Sue Chambers

Our Dearly beloved 91 year old Dorothy Sue Chambers gained her heavenly wings. She was a Godly person.

She had quite the life. She was a teen Mother who worked her way through the ranks, starting in the laundry room at a hospital in California, then became a candy striper, then on to become a Registered Nurse. Earning Many credentials along the way, she was glad to show you when you came to visit. She prided herself as a review nurse for Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care for many years.   

She loved playing her guitar and having Gospel “jam” sessions with her friends. She enjoyed shopping for anything anytime. Liked to travel with her son. Loved All her children related or not…   Very independent and stubborn at times! She was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her brother Wendell Holloway and a sister Mary Wilson  and her son Brook Reeves, her grandchildren Brook John Reeves, Brianna Fisher, Melissa Green her Great Grandchildren Jack and Grace Reeves, Crystal Thornburg, Amber Westbrook, Candace Araujo, Deajay Kelsey and Miranda Taylor.  Her Great Great grandchildren Jaden Thornburg, Alissa and Aizik Araujo, Devan Kelsey, Fisher Kelsey, Luka and Aaliyah Taylor and a Great Great Great Grandchild Hudson Kelsey. 

We would like to thank the staff at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation Center and  Heart of Hospice for the kindness and care that was given to her during her stay  and her niece Julie Bugg for all that she did .
