Eddie Manus, age 60, peacefully entered his heavenly home on November 22, 2024. Born on March 31, 1964, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he was a cherished son of Bobbie Jean and Betty Sue (Ponder) Manus.
Eddie dedicated many years of service as an orderly at Saint Edward Hospital, now known as Mercy Hospital. His love for music sparked at Kimmons Middle School, and since remained a lifelong passion. A talented drummer and guitarist, Eddie's music brought to many and gave him immense joy. Guided by his strong Baptist faith, Eddie lived a life of love and devotion. He also had a special fondness for sporting dogs, especially his beloved Brandy, a loyal Field Spaniel.
Eddie is survived by his sister-in-law, Brenda Manus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobbie Jean and Betty Sue Manus, and his brother, Lance Manus.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will occur at Forest Park Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association in Eddie's memory. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
