Eula Faye Basinger, 85, of Cameron, Oklahoma, passed away on January 5, 2025. Born on January 16, 1939, she was the cherished daughter of the late George and Lois (Miller) Ledbetter. Eula Faye was united in marriage to Jerry Basinger on June 8, 1957, and together they shared 67 years of love and companionship. A dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Eula Faye was known for her strong work ethic, both as an auto worker and, more importantly, as a passionate farmer. She found great joy in tending to her garden and caring for her cows, often seen outside working the land that she loved. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a spirited, hardworking, and fiercely independent woman. Eula Faye's legacy of love and determination will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Eula is Survived by Her beloved son, Gary Basinger and his spouse Dee; two grandchildren, Brooke Krekeler and spouse Mark, Ashley Flower and Spouse Amanda; one great-grandchild, Leah Krekeler; a brother, David Ledbetter; and three sisters, Beth Woolsey, Elena McCormick, and Sherrie Stewart. She is Preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Jerry Basinger; Her Parents, George and Lois (Miller) Ledbetter; a brother, Donald Ledbetter; and a sister, Ella McMillin.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Located at 4817 Kelley Highway.
