Frances Ann Moore

Frances Ann Moore, age 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on September 21st, 2024, at Ashton Place in Barling, Arkansas. Born May 24th, 1944, She was the daughter of Francis Johnson Kempton and Barbaline Kempton (Coward). Frances married the love of her life Edmund Stephen Moore on December 29, 1971, in Poteau, Oklahoma. Frances was a Homemaker who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. In her free time she could often be found gardening, crocheting, or deep into a good book. Frances will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; who cared for her family more than anything. 

Frances is survived by her two children, Byron Moore and Joyce Boley; six grandchildren, Charles, Shelbi, Kaylan, Brooke, Brittany, Cheyenne, and Tristan; and three grandchildren, Adelyn, Ayden, and Tiffany. She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Edmund Stephen Moore; her parents, Francis Johnson Kempton and Barbaline Kempton (Coward); and one brother Fenton Graham. There will be a memorial service held at 2:00pm Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Rye Hill Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Stewart officiating.
