Franklin (Frank) D. Woods, 84, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, as he entered his eternal home. Born on August 3, 1940, in Short, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Joe and Adelia Bell (Link) Woods. Frank is now reunited with his beloved wife, Sharon Kay (Harrison) Woods, whom he married on April 9, 1960.
A dedicated husband, father, and Pops, Frank was also a devoted Baptist who cherished fishing and attending Tri-State races. He was a hardworking man, retiring from Wortz Cracker after many years of loyal service.
Frank is survived by his three daughters: Donna Phillips, Debbie Adams, and Sherry Brooks, and his two sisters: Wilma Allen and Jorene Attaberry. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Adelia (Link) Woods; his cherished wife, Sharon (Harrison) Woods; daughter Tammie Ardrey; great-granddaughter Alyssa Adams; and sons-in-law Randy Adams and Earl Brooks.
Frank’s warm spirit and dedication to the family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will take place November 9th, 2024 at 10:00 am, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72904. Cremation and service are under the thoughtful care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
