Gary Dale Wilcox

Gary Dale Wilcox, age 58, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on June 22, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Ronald Wayne Wilcox Sr. and Dorothy Louise (Pealer) Payton.

Gary attended high school and later studied at Westark College. Throughout his life, he worked in a variety of trades at machine shops, foundries, steel mills, and as a truck driver. He was known as a hardworking man who was willing to do whatever was necessary to provide for those he loved, including caring for his mother. He remained by her side for many years, ensuring she received the care and support she needed until her passing.

Gary enjoyed spending his free time fishing and working on cars. Those who knew him will remember him as an honest man who was always there for his friends and loved ones whenever they needed him.

He is survived by his father, Ronald Wayne Wilcox Sr.; his children, Charlie Wilcox, Brandy Wilcox, John Wilcox, Eric Wilcox, and Connor Dallas Levi Friend; and his siblings, Cindy, Brenda, Ronald, David, Paul, and Paula.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Louise (Pealer) Payton.

There will be no services at this time; cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
