George Bennett Randels, age 74, passed away peacefully in his home on September 11, 2024, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Born November 6, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was a beloved son of George Robert Randels and Ruth Louise (Bomberger) Randels. George was a proud Veteran of the United States Military, having served in the Navy for several years. He was also a hard worker, who held a longtime career in construction. In his free time, George enjoyed venturing outdoors, often woodworking, fishing, or shooting. He will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
George is survived by his two children, Bobby Randels of Lavaca, Arkansas; and Shawn Randels of Marble Falls, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Jeff Randels and wife Joy of Chouteau, Oklahoma; one sister, Linda Randels of Edmond, Oklahoma; one nephew, Cole Randels and wife Jennifer of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and three nieces, Hillary Christianson of Great Falls, Montana; Morgan Bowling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Whitney Alexander, also of Oklahoma City. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Randels. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
