Harold Lewis Bullard, age 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Fort Smith, Arkansas. Harold was born December 18, 1943, in Los Angeles, California to the late Delbert and Mae (Raymer) Bullard. He worked for Structural Steel as a welder and was in the Iron Workers Union. He loved tinkering with metal and could make anything out of steel. He loved showing his kids his welding skills and teaching them the trade. Harold loved watching the horse races not necessarily betting on them but talking to the horses. He also like watching a good boxing match and he was a member of the NRA. He is survived by his son David Bullard and spouse Heather of Triangle, Virginia; daughter Shelly Kock and spouse Janie of McAlister, Oklahoma; stepson Adam Turnbull and spouse Rebecca of Vilonia, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Tristan, Griffith, Cole, Brooklyn, Samantha, Peyton, Cash and Gus; also leave behind a host of other family and friends. Harold is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Bullard, son Stephen Bullard and his brother Charles Robert Bullard. A funeral service will be held Friday November 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Highway, Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Sylvia Bell officiating. He served in the US Air Force and will be buried with his fellow servicemen in the Fort Smith US National Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made in Harold's name to the Mercy Hospice Foundation, 6801 Rogers Ave, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.
