James "Tom" Thomas Holmes

James Thomas "Tom" Holmes, age 67, passed away on October 2, 2024 at Covington Court Health and Rehab Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born October 30, 1956, in California, he was the beloved son of James "Doc" Holmes and Ann (Farley) Holmes. Tom held a longtime career in the HVAC industry, and he owned a successful business, Airmedics Heating & Air Conditioning. He also spent some time working as a paramedic for the Sebastian County EMS, as well as a firefighter with the Fort Smith Fire Department. In his free time, Tom loved cheering on the Razorbacks. 

Tom is survived by his two grandchildren, Lindsey Holmes and Dustin Holmes; three great-grandchildren, Lawson Brumbelow, Kash Brumbelow, and Tucker Brumbelow; brother in law, Glen Yates; and one niece and nephew. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ann Holmes; his son, Dallas Holmes; and one sister, Vicki Yates. 

A private Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later time. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
