Jeffrey Scot Kinser

Jeffrey Scot Kinser, age 65, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at Arkansas Extended Care in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on August 26, 1960, in Burbank, California, to Paul Kinser Sr. and Clara (Bisbee) Hawkins.

Jeffrey graduated from high school and went on to devote over 30 years to the oil fields of New Mexico, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and perseverance. For the past 25 years, he shared a cherished companionship with his life partner, Brenda Rhodes.

A true outdoorsman, Jeffrey found peace in fishing, spending quiet time in nature, and enjoying days out on his boat. At home, he was a laid-back, introverted soul who loved watching football and cheering for his Dallas Cowboys. He adored his dogs, Harley and Peanut, who brought him great joy.

Jeffrey was a man of strong faith and deep generosity, remembered for his talkative nature, friendly spirit, and unmistakable boisterous laugh. Always willing to help, he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.

He is survived by his long time partner, Brenda K. Rhodes; his father, Paul Kinser Sr. and wife Audrey; his mother, Clara Hawkins; three daughters, Danielle, Breanna, and Cassandra; three sisters; one brother; two step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; one nephew; and one great-nephew.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Arkansas Extended Care, with special thanks to “Moe,” for their kindness and care.
