Jimmy Guy Bark Jr., 83, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at Heart of Hospice in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on March 18, 1941, he was the beloved son of Mark and Wyona Strange.
Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a cook, preparing hearty meals for his fellow servicemen. He was especially known for making the best S.O.S. gravy.
Jimmy married his first wife, Patsy Jean (Searle) Bark, and they shared many wonderful years together until her passing. He was fortunate to find love again and later married Ina Bark, who brought warmth and companionship into his life.
After his military service, Jimmy built a dedicated career at Rheem Manufacturing, where he worked diligently until his well-earned retirement.
Jimmy had a deep passion for softball, whether he was playing, coaching, or watching from the sidelines. He was also a devoted OU fan, always cheering on his favorite basketball team. His pride in his military service carried throughout his life, and he remained active in the VFW, regularly attending meetings, events, and even enjoying nights out dancing with fellow veterans.
Above all, Jimmy will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his role as a beloved husband, devoted father, and endearing grandfather. He brought joy and laughter to those around him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his four sons, Jimmy Bark; Quinton Bark; Denny Hubbard; and Kenny Hubbard; eight grandchildren, Dakota Bark, Easton Bark, Nicole Bark, Teanna Rayne Bark, Quinton Cole Bark Jr., Maeson Skye Bark; Patsy Danielle Star Bark; Krista Hubbard; Justin Hubbard; Kenneth Hubbard; Kenny Lee Hubbard; and Alaina Hubbard; and his cherished great-grandchildren.
