Joyce Ann Thweatt

Joyce Ann Thweatt, age 68, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Lavaca, Arkansas. Born November 25, 1956 in Oxnard, California, she was a beloved daughter of Margie (Darbison) Beasley and Charles Beasley. Joyce married the love of her life, James Thweatt, on September 4, 1976 at Sacred Heart Church in Ventura, California, and they spent many wonderful years together in marriage. Joyce had a deep love for gardening, camping, shopping, decorating, and most of all, being with her family and cherished pet dogs. She will be remembered as a fun, loving, loyal, and dedicated daughter, wife, mom, and dog mom.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, James Thweatt of Lavaca, Arkansas; one daughter, Joleena Douglas and spouse Brian Douglas of Lavaca, Arkansas; and two grandchildren, James Douglas and Luke Douglas, both of Lavaca, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margie Beasley.

Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
