Laura Ann Barker

Laura Ann Baker, age 65, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on January 18, 1960, in California to Clifford and Rosemary (Dannat) Bain.

Laura had a deep love for reading, solving puzzles, and playing games. She was a dedicated worker, working as a cook and a store clerk. She will be remembered for her warm heart and her unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her children: Melissa Basham and Otis Pierre III; her grandchildren: Destiny, Ramsey, and Austin; and her great-grandchildren, Briggs and Brady. Laura is also survived by her sisters, Pat Cline and Della Schmidt, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Rosemary Bain, her daughter; Amanda Gail Bain; and her four siblings: Donnie White, Rosie White, Nickie Hall, and Jeannie Byrd.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
