Lee Otis Smith Jr.

Lee Otis Smith Jr., age 70, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away at his home on May 26, 2026. He was born on November 29, 1955, in Fort Smith, to Shirley Register Wesley and Lee Otis Smith Sr.

Lee attended Northside High School and later proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was known for his generous heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his deep love for his family. Above all else, Lee treasured his role as a father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Aiyana Martin; his siblings, Stephanie Releford, Rodney Johnson, Rodney Register, and Marcelis Register II; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends .

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Register Wesley and Lee Otis Smith Sr.; his siblings, Gary Smith, Debra Smith, and Venita Register; and his nephews, Brandon J. Blocker and Shaquille Davis.

There will be no services at this time, cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
