Linda Gail Gregory, age 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. She was born on April 30, 1949, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Doyle and Frankie (Smith) Dorsey.
A beloved wife, mother, and friend, Linda was a pillar of her community and a woman of deep faith. She was the proud owner and operator of Sweet Willies Antiques, where her passion for history and craftsmanship shone through. Linda’s dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family, friends, and the Lord.
Linda was a cherished member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, where she devoted herself to serving the Lord and her church family. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she always found joy in the fellowship and love of her congregation.
Linda’s adventurous spirit was evident in her love for travel, especially in her journeys across the country with her late husband. She cherished the memories made during their travels and the experiences that enriched her life. One of Linda’s greatest joys was spending time with her family, whether it was attending gospel concerts, enjoying movies together, or simply being in the company of those she loved.
Her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. Linda will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on forever.
Linda is Survived by several cousins; including Pamela Hobbs, Sherry Poole, and Danny Hedges. She is preceded in passing by her beloved parents, Doyle and Frankie (Smith) Dorsey; Her cherished husband, Bill Gregory; her son, Jason Shipp; and her brothers, Ronald Dorsey and Donald Dorsey.
There will be a Graveside service at Gregory Cemetery on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 2:00pm. The cemetery is located at 2413 North Mountain Grove Road, Alma, Arkansas.
