Linda Susan Ward

Linda Susan Ward, 74, entered her heavenly home on December 1, 2024. Born on January 5, 1950, she was the beloved daughter of Robert C. Gordon and Peggy J. Gordon Martin.

Linda was a talented entrepreneur who expressed her creativity through ceramics and woodworking. She generously shared these skills by teaching at the Boys and Girls Club, a cause close to her heart she proudly supported. Linda also found joy in dancing, bingo, and dominoes, bringing light and laughter to those around her. Above all, she was a devoted Christian who lived by the Ten Commandments, offering an inspiring example of faith, kindness, and dedication.
Her kind heart, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Peggy, and her sister, Debbie Gordon.

She is survived by her children, Alishia and Christopher Eversole of Van Buren, Arkansas; William Lee Tedford of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Wade and Jessica Gordon of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Linda was a proud grandmother to Nicholas Chastain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Killion Young of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Dyllan Schukes of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Brittley Schanting of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She also treasured her two great-grandchildren, Aiden Chastain and Brayden. Additionally, Linda is survived by her loving sister, Sherry Ann Wilson of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The family will hold a private interment in her honor. Cremation under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
