Lorean Kay Brasfield, age 75, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Heart of Hospice in Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born July 15, 1949, she was a beloved daughter of Joseph Tate and Myrtle Ricketts. Lorean spent her days as a devoted homemaker. She was a woman of Christian faith, who found peace and comfort through prayer. In her free time, Lorean loved collecting beautiful jewelry. She will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
Lorean is survived by her three children, Ronald Ludwick of Alma, Arkansas; Linda Waters and spouse William of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and Tony Ludwick and spouse Christina of Van Buren, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Briana Man; Elizabeth Waters; Cody and Collin Ludwick; Vincent Ludwick; Bradley Ludwick; Joseph Ludwick; Kayse Ludwick; and Christian Ludwick; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Tate and Myrtle Ricketts; and her two sons, Danny Ludwick and Daniel Ludwick. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
