Mark Browder Obituary

Mark Anthony Browder, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Charleston, Arkansas, on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born on February 6, 1961, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Mark was the beloved son of Elsie Irene (Moore) Browder and William Albert Browder Jr.

A graduate of Southside High School, Mark dedicated much of his career to the meat-cutting profession, serving for many years as the manager of the meat department at Walmart. Outside of work, he found joy in music, playing multiple instruments, writing songs, and expressing his creativity through art and carpentry. An outdoorsman at heart, he loved fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Mark was truly a jack of all trades, always eager to lend a hand and share his many talents.

Above all, Mark’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He never missed an opportunity to share his love for God and extend kindness to those around him. He will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who loved deeply and gave selflessly.

Mark is survived by his children, Jacob Paul Browder (Elizabeth), Sara Elizabeth Browder, and Wesley Garner; his grandchildren, Grayson, Lola, Ezra, Eli, and McKenzie; and his siblings, Larry Hedge (Debbie), Philip Hedge, Alma McLain, Dianna (Browder) Stewart, and Paul “Dude” Browder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie Browder; his siblings, Connie (Hedge) Bates, Bill Browder, Terry Browder; and his cousin, Ronnie Bates.
