Marvin English

Marvin English, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on August 22, 1951, in Scott, Oklahoma, to Lorene (Stamps) English and Marvin Glen English.

Marvin enjoyed a long and dedicated career of 25 years with Riverside Manufacturing, where he worked as a supervisor. He spent the last few years of his working days at Spectrum, where he retired. He had a deep love for music and was often found singing along to his favorite songs. His warmth, humor, and kind spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his two children, Brian English of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Jennifer Anderson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Kelsee, Andrew, and Jaric; his brother, Mike English; and several nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene and Marvin English; and his siblings, Dale English and Muriel English.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the caring direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
