Melva Jo Coyle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, and friend entered into rest in Tehachapi, California on November 30th at the age of 91.
Born in Panama, Oklahoma on December 23, 1932 to Melvin Stephens and Florence (Mosco) Stephens. She was the fourth out of 9 siblings.
On September 13, 1951, Melva married Charles Leon Coyle. Together they built a life of love, raising a family of three. Melva was a devoted Mother and her family was her greatest joy. Melva was passionate about her hobbies. She loved gardening, cooking and baking.
She worked thirty years for the Federal Government as a supply technician at Edwards Air Force Base.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Leon) Coyle and son Stephen Lee Coyle. Survived by daughters Debra Welling ( Ron ) Connie Kostopoulos (Paul), six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, Sister: Betty, Brothers: Harold, Joe and John
She is loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Shady Point Cemetery, located at 27047 Regan Street in Shady Point, Oklahoma, 74956. Brother Sid Ree is to officiate. Services are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
