Patricia Anne Danko, lovingly known as Anne, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on October 29, 1933. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and faithful servant to her church. A lifelong Catholic, she was deeply involved in her parish communities throughout her life. She was an active member of St. Xavier Catholic Church in Junction City, Kansas and later St. Boniface Catholic Church, as well as Immaculate Conception Church, both in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her faith and dedication to family were the foundations of her life.
Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fritz Danko; her son, Mike Danko; her daughter, Norene (Lenny) Waters; her father, Hugh Jones; her mother, Avis Jones; and her siblings, Hugh Eugene "Gene" Jones and wife Beverly, Betty Jane Powell, William Kelly "Bill" Jones and wife Connie, and Jerry Max Jones.
She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Reed, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews who will remember her with love and gratitude.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
