Patrick Scott Riggs

Patrick Scott Riggs of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, October 10th, 2024, in the care of Heart of Hospice, located at Baptist Health in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 71. Patrick was born in Camp Chaffee, Arkansas, on July 1st, 1953, to his beloved parents Ralph June and Billie Jean (Scott) Riggs. He proudly graduated from Northside High School with the class of 1971. Patrick worked at Cagle Ornamental Iron and Leckenby Welding before most recently working at Burton Pools and Spas. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who, always enjoyed watching them play. When he got the opportunity, Patrick enjoyed the peace of going fishing. More than anything, Patrick was loved deeply by his family and will be remembered as an Amazing brother and a loyal friend. For anyone who knew Pat, it was clear the he chose to live life his way!

Patrick is survived by his five siblings, Marsha Ward, Jo Lynn Gerdes, Mike Riggs, Tim Riggs, and Mary Gill; 11 Nieces and Nephews, Jason Blackard, Nichole Riggs, Morgen Blankinchip, Katie Riggs, Josh Gerdes, Cassady Faulkner, Michael Riggs, Cayton Riggs, Billie Riggs, Elizabeth Riggs, and Alexandria Riggs. Patrick is Preceded in passing by his parents, Ralph J. Riggs and Billie Jean (Scott) Riggs; and one sibling, Paula J. Riggs. 

In Lieu of flowers, the famliy requests that donations be made to the Reynolds Cancer Support House, located 3324 South M. Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. All services are under the careful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
