Paul Odell Dotson

Paul Odell Dotson, age 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on December 2, 2025. He was born on August 7, 1958, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Anna Reba (Polk) and Mitchell Dotson.

Paul graduated from Muskogee High School and later married his beloved wife, Sherrie Dotson on February 23, 1990. He was known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Paul enjoyed grilling, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and spending cherished time with his grandchildren. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and giving nature.

Paul is survived by his wife, Sherrie Dotson; his four children: Paula and husband Jerimiah, Brandy Jones and husband Willie, Isaac Allen, and Tommy Allen; nine grandchildren: Dayarizes, Bransea, Jaden, Maleah, Loyalty, Dougie, CJ, Preston, and Bailey; and his great-grandson, Freddie III. He is also survived by his siblings: Marva Hill, Shirley McGaugh, Greg Dotson, Marilyn Perry, Michelle Callens, and Karla Cunningham; his grandson-in-law, Freddie Jr.; and his beloved pet, Lizzy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Anna Reba Dotson; his sister, Connie Williams; and his brother, David Dotson.

A memorial service will be held at Rayfield Baptist Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
