Paul Edward Jones

Paul Edward Jones, age 65, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. Paul was born July 23rd, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois, to William and Margret (Newingham) Jones. Paul married the love of his life Laura (Hice) Jones on September 23rd, 1989 and together they enjoyed 35 years of marriage. Paul was a proud trucker who truly enjoyed his career, especially when he take his family traveling the country with him. Paul was a member of Old Rudy Fellowship Church for 39 years. In his free time, Paul enjoyed writing music, going fishing, and hunting for mushrooms with his close friends and family. More than anything, Paul will be remembered as a man who loved his family dearly and as diligent and faithful servant of God. He will be deeply missed by a host of friends and family.

Paul is survived by his cherished wife, Laura (Hice) Jones of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two children, Andrew Jones of Fort Smith, Kimberly Jones and husband Bradley Pense of Fort Smith; His mother Margret (Newington) Jones; three brothers, Jack A. Jones of Kingston, Oklahoma, William Jones of Alton, Illinois, James Jones of Thackerville, Oklahoma, two sisters, Sharon Sampson and husband Jay of Thackerville, Anne Christie and husband John of Ezle, Texas; three sisters in law, Lisa Criswell and husband J.R. of Mount Ida, Arkansas, Debbie Toon and husband Rickey of Lavaca, Arkansas, and kathie Goff of Booneville, Arkansas 

Paul is preceded in passing by his father, William Richard Jones; two brothers, Ronald Jones and Kerry Jones; two sisters in law, Sue Jones and Barbie Jones; and one brother in law, Brad Goff. 

 A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 at Old Rudy Fellowship in Alma, Arkansas, with Pastor Jason Sutmiller officiating. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
