Paula Dee Drenon, 86, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025. Born on October 20, 1938, in Hastain, Missouri, she was a beloved daughter of Theodore Roosevelt and Bennie Lee (Yount) Drenon.
A devoted homemaker, Paula had a deep appreciation for life’s finer things. She had a passion for interior design and antiques, filling her home with warmth and beauty. An exceptional cook, she found joy in preparing meals for her loved ones. She also had a love for gardening, tending to her flowers with the same care and devotion she showed to those around her. A woman of strong faith, Paula was a devoted Christian who carried her love for God in all she did. She will be fondly remembered for her kind and generous heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her.
Paula is survived by her three children, Brad Cook, Ron Cook, and Anna Lawson; Nine grandchildren; Seventeen great- grandchildren; a brother; Larry Drenon; three sisters, Naomi Henton, Geneva Payne, and Eula Dean Parris; a life long friend, Ken Wilson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Paula is preceded in passing by her beloved parents; Theodore and Bennie (Yount) Drenon; a son, Robert Sumner; a sister, Juanita Claybourne; and two brothers, Willard Drenon and Ted Drenon.
The family invites you to a celebration of life for Paula, on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Christ The King in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The Rosary will begin at 10:30a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. Cremation is under the careful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
