Rebecca Lynn Enoch

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Enoch, age 74, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at her home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on February 5, 1951, in Monahans, Texas to Aileen G. (Metcalf) and Aaron Leon James.  

Becky attended Westark Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science and fulfilled her calling to become a registered nurse. She devoted the next 30 years of her life to caring for others, faithfully serving her community at Baptist Health (Sparks Hospital).

On May 6, 1972, Becky married the love of her life, Larry Enoch, in Enid, Oklahoma. Together, they shared many love-filled years, building a life rooted in faith and family. Becky found great joy in listening to hymnal music and spending time with her loved ones, especially while playing cards and board games.
A devoted member of Central Christian Church in Fort Smith, Becky lived her faith daily through her kindness, compassion, and service to others. She will be fondly remembered as a dedicated Christian woman whose greatest joy was the love she shared with her family.

Becky is survived by her mother, Aileen G. (Metcalf) James; her loving husband, Larry Enoch; two Children, Sherri Enoch, Christina Mitchell-Enoch and wife BreAnn; two grandchildren, Jacob Enoch and wife Tashyra, Jordan Wisdom and husband Jonathan; two siblings, Karon Shelton and David James; one nephew, Darren Shelton; and a close friend Tonya Hogue. She is preceded in passing by her father, Leon James; as well as her beloved son, Jeremy Enoch.

There will be a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Central Christian Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Tim Beasley to Officiate. Interment will follow at Steep Hill Cemetery. Jacob Enoch and Jonathan Wisdom will serve as pallbearers.
