Rob Amkha Vongsiri

Rob Amkha Vongsiri, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 15, 1945, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Oraphan Pruekaroon and Eiem Saieng. Rob will be remembered most for his deep devotion to his family. A kind and generous man, he lived his life with love, integrity, and a willingness to do anything for those he cherished.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim (Khambao) Vongsiri, and their four children: Amy Phoumivong, Siphay Vongsiri, Mike Vongsiri, and Cindy Tran. Rob was a proud grandfather to fourteen grandchildren—Lex, Minnie, Vince, Andi, Angel, JJ, Chance, Ben, Zoe, Kevin, Melissa, Timothy, Emily, and Chloe—and two great-grandchildren, Gracelynn and Noah.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Eiem Saieng and Oraphan Pruekaroon.

Blessing services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, and Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, also at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
