Robert E Rae, age 64, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Robert was born September 17, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late James and Elin (Holmgren) Rae.

He worked for DHHS in Michigan as a foster care social worker for 13 years. He loved playing Euchre with family and friends. He enjoyed watching his beloved Detroit Lions play football, and listing to music. Robert would take in any stray cat and care for them, he also loved his Diet Coke.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Sara and Katie Rae both of Boulder, Colorado, two brothers, Thom Rae of Chicago, Illinois, and Jose Torres of Detroit, Michigan, two sisters, Nancy Rae of Booneville, Arkansas, and Lynn Crittenden of Virginia, also numerous family and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jackie Rae.

Cremation services are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
