Roger Vongphakdy

Roger Vongphakdy, age 76, of Stigler, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2024 at Haskell Regional Hospital in Stigler, Oklahoma.  Roger was born May 3, 1948 in Vientiane, Laos, a son of Thit and Nang Khamfong Vongphakdy. He married the love of his life, Malia Phandonouvong. Roger was a soccer player for the Loas International Team and also excelled at tennis and golf. Roger is survived by his loving wife Malia Phandanouvong; his children, Arounkorke Birdie Vongphakdy of Stigler, Oklahoma and Olivia Von Phakdy, of California; one grandchild; and one sister, Khombou Vong Phakdy of San Rosa, California. He is preceded in death by his brother, Khampouh Vongphakdy and Khambo Vongphakdy.

 A Funeral Service will be held at1:00PM on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Highway Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
