Sevity Xayavongsa

Sevity Xayavongsa, aged 43, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on October 14, 2024. Born on September 21, 1981, Sevity was a devoted husband and father, cherished by his family and friends and those that came to know him.

Sevity is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Touny Xayavongsa; his children, Janessa Xayavongsa and her partner Adrian Vega, Taliyah Xayavongsa, Malachi Xayavongsa, and Aunaley Xayavongsa; his parents, Pane and Luckier Xayavongsa; and his brothers, Ainoy Xayavongsa and wife Nga (Cindy) Phan, and Sahalat Xayavongsa; his nephews, Nevon and Judah Xayavongsa, Tramendor and Draven Xayavongsa, Skyler Mingboupha and partner Miguela Depaynos ; nieces, Vivian Xayavongsa and Justice Daugherty.

An avid fisherman and passionate boxer, Sevity (Superman) Xayavongsa found comfort and excitement in the outdoors and the boxing ring. His hobbies were not just pastimes but integral parts of his identity. Even out of the boxing ring, from cradle to the grave, he was a natural born fighter. With all his might, he fought, so he could have more time with his children. He loved his family and children more than anything in the world.

Sevity was a respected member of the River Valley Torah Assembly, where he found solace and peace in the members with his unwavering faith.

A service to honor Sevity's life will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at 10:00 am. This will be followed by a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. The family invites all who knew Sevity to join in celebrating his remarkable life and legacy.
