Sherry Lona Yarberro, 69, Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away December 22, 2024 at her son's home in Liberty, Missouri. Services and interment will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oak Cemetery, 1401 South Greenwood Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Mrs. Yarberro was born August 6, 1955 at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas to Bill and Dorothy (Rupe) Bomar.
Sherry worked in banking, beginning at City National Bank in Lawton, Oklahoma and then at Merchant's Bank in Fort Smith, Arkansas, before deciding to be a stay at home mom. She was an avid reader, a tomato lover, a HUGE Razorback fan and anyone that knew her, knew her love of sunflowers and the color yellow. She was the daughter of an army sergeant, and loved spending time with her family, she was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a West Ark Church of Christ member, and is now resting in peace, in heaven.
Sherry was preceded in death by a son Daniel Yarberro, her parents, Bill Bomar and Dorothy Caldwell and sisters Terry Barnes and Mary Connelly.
She is survived by her husband Aaron Yarberro of Fort Smith, Arkansas, son Michael (wife Dusty) Hemphill of Liberty, Missouri, sister Kerry Botteicher of Fort Smith, Arkansas, brother C.R. Caldwell of Alma, Arkansas, and her beloved grandchildren; Alex Hemphill, Nathan Hemphill, Sydney Hemphill, Lilly Malone, Nate Meshau and Gavin Meshau.
