Shirley Ruth (Rissinger) Buccella

Shirley Ruth Buccella, 86, of Midland, Arkansas, passed away on September 12, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1938, in Hackett, Arkansas, to Olah (Dugan)and John Luther Rissinger.

Shirley was a graduate of Mansfield High School and worked as a CNA, where she devoted her career to caring for others. She was a lifelong member of The Old Rugged Cross Church in Midland, Arkansas, where her faith was an important part of her life. Shirley found joy in simple pleasures: working puzzles, playing BINGO and piano, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a devoted woman whose love and kindness touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her children, Sherylee Jones and Joe Buccella; seven grandchildren, Brian, Shawn, Kimberly, John, Cody, Joseff, and Lillian; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Buccella.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Hartford First Baptist Church, 105 N. Main St., Hartford, AR, with Pastor Dustin Williams officiating. Shirley is laid to rest at Slaytonville Cemetery. Cremation under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel
