Tina Marie (Glenn) Rice, age 68, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born November 1, 1956, in Butte, Montana, she was a beloved daughter of Cleburn Gale Glenn and Wanda Ruth (Rouw) Glenn. Tina met the love of her life, Billy Mark Rice, when they were both teenagers, and they became joined together in marriage on May 18, 1976. As a young adult, Tina obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from WestArk College, and she embarked on a long and successful career as a registered nurse. Tina was a hard worker, who was extremely devoted to her job, often working seven days a week. In her free time, she loved collecting Beanie Babies, spending time with her family, and loving on her pet dog, Sparky. Tina will be remembered as a very giving and selfless person, who would give anything to make other people happy. She had a fearless spirit, and she was a loving and devoted wife, as well as a great mother and lover of animals and life.
Tina is survived by her cherished husband of 48 years, Billy Mark Rice; four daughters, Valerie Enslow; Jennifer Balazic; Heather Lasater; and Gretchen Williams; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen and a half great-grandchildren (the sixteenth is on the way); one aunt, Margaret Rouw; along with several other aunts, uncles, extended family, and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleburn and Wanda Glenn; her son, Terry Miller; and one grandchild.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith, AR 72904. The Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m., also on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery, located at 5510 Cross Lane in Fort Smith, AR 72904. Services are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
