Tracy Lyn Russell, age 66, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away in the comfort of his home on May 4, 2026. Born on December 9, 1959, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Tracy lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and devotion to family and friends.
Tracy was the son of Lonnie Darryl Russell and Patsy Lavern Jerden. He was also blessed with the love and guidance of his stepmother, Dorothy. One of his greatest joys was attending Renaissance fairs with his beloved wife, Brenda. Together, they created treasured memories, enjoying the atmosphere, costumes, laughter, and shared adventures that brought them closer through the years. Tracy loved his family and friends, and he touched many lives with his caring heart, gentle spirit, humor, and larger-than-life personality.
Tracy is survived by his sisters, Tina Akins of Magazine, Arkansas; Tammy Spencer of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Terry of West Palm Beach, Florida; and Telina of Waldron, Arkansas; and his brother, James Perryman of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Brenda Russell; his brother, Richard Perryman of Van Buren; and his sister, Theresa Banks of Magazine.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on June 6, 2026 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. The family kindly asks that donations be made to Lewis Funeral Chapel to help with memorial service expenses. Services are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
