Vicki Lynn Hamilton, 56, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on September 19, 1968, in Van Buren, she was the beloved daughter of Gertrude "Gertie" Byrd. On December 2, 1988, Vicki married the love of her life, Timothy Hamilton, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A devoted homemaker, she took great pride in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.
Vicki had a love for adventure and the great outdoors. She found excitement in racing, joy in fishing, and pure happiness in playing with her grandchildren. Her presence brought warmth and love to those around her, and she will always be remembered as the best Nana—a title she wore with pride and devotion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Hamilton, of Van Buren; her two children, TJ Hamilton and wife Danielle, and Jimmy Hamilton and wife Brooke, all of Van Buren; seven treasured grandchildren, Lacie, Lanie, Lexie, Allie, Annsley, Ashlyn, and Daniel; her sister, Brenda Brown, of Mulberry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear loved ones.
Vicki was preceded in death by Josephine "Jody" Moore and Jacqueline "Jackie" Byrd.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Bobby Hogan Ministries, 4401 Windsor Drive, Fort Smith, AR. A reception will follow at the church, where family and friends can gather to celebrate her beautiful life.
