Wallace “Wally” Lynn Adams, age 74, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on February 5, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Norman Adams and Velma (Harris) Wilson.
Wally graduated from Van Buren High School in 1970 and soon after served six years in the National Guard Reserves. In his free time, he enjoyed working on hot rods, taking pride in modifying vehicles to make them faster. He also loved spending time fishing on his boat and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks whenever he caught a game.
Though Wally was known for being quiet and somewhat reserved earlier in life, he became more outgoing in recent years and was known as a friend to many. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving father who deeply cherished his son.
He is survived by his son, Cody Adams and wife Rossana of Kansas; his siblings, Mary Burkhart and husband David, Susan Means and husband Bill, and Glenn Adams and wife Lisa, all of Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Adams and Velma Wilson; his brothers, Tommy and Richard Adams; his niece, Renaee Adams; and his nephew, Tommy Adams II.
No formal services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
