Wanda Faye (Snow) Daws

Wanda Faye (Snow) Daws, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Cedarville, Arkansas, on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born on October 1, 1941, in Van Buren, Arkansas, she was a cherished daughter of Orval "Boss" Snow and Reba Lenora (Emmert) Snow.
Wanda was a vibrant woman with a zest for life and a wide array of talents. She excelled in multiple careers, including small business ownership and real estate. In her leisure time, Wanda embraced the great outdoors, finding joy in fishing, camping, and water skiing. A true country girl at heart, she delighted in line dancing. She was also a creative soul, expressing herself through painting and nurturing her garden.

In her early years, Wanda was a devoted member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Above all, Wanda's greatest source of happiness was her family, particularly her beloved great-grandchild, Daven. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, whose unwavering love and selflessness were felt by all who knew her.
Wanda is survived by her three children: Carol Fusher; Sonja Peden and her husband, Greg; and Deann Davis. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Sunni Lively, Lacey Huff, Brittany Fisher, Lanie Huff, Kyle Harper, Brian Harper, Sabrina Tucker, TJ Tucker, Makayla Scott, and Kiley Davis; four great-grandchildren: Killian Lively, Hayden Lively, Vincent Medrano, and Daven Fisher; and her three sisters: Marion Snow, Janet Newman, and Mary Snow. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval "Boss" Snow and Reba Lenora (Emmert) Snow; her brother, David Snow; her brother-in-law, Myles Newman; and one nephew, Myles Newman II.

A Memorial Service honoring Wanda’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, located at 4929 Industrial Park Rd in Van Buren, Arkansas 72956. Pastor Joe Walden will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the thoughtful care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
