William Ray Manes, age 60, passed away on October 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born July 5, 1964, he was a beloved son of Donald Manes and Carylon (Strozier) Manes. William married the love of his life, Lori Manes, and they enjoyed 33 blissful years together in marriage. He was a dedicated worker, who served his community working for the Water Department for the City of Greenwood, Arkansas. William was a devoted member of Free Range Cowboy Church, as well as a former member of BACA for 17 years. He will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
William is survived by his loving wife, Lori Manes, of the home; one child, Tatianna Brown and spouse Tommy Brown; three grandchildren, Izzie DeSalvo; RJ DeSalvo; and Thomas Del Brown; two brothers, Joe Manes and spouse Pam; Tim Manes and spouse Marilyn; and Tammie Cochran; his mother, Carylon (Strozier) Manes; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Manes. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
