Willie Earl King, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on December 31, 2024. Born on October 26, 1937, in Claiborne, Mississippi, he was the cherished son of Edd and Annie Belle (Canoy) King and grew up alongside his seven siblings.
Willie’s first marriage was to Rosemary King in 1986, followed by his second marriage to Cindy King in 2001. He found great joy in his shared love of motorcycles and often rode alongside Cindy. An avid socializer, Willie loved spending time with friends, especially playing cards. He was a devoted fan of Jeopardy, never missing an episode.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Annie King, as well as his seven siblings: Lucy, Bettie Edrene, Edgar, Melvin, Ray, and Howard.
He leaves behind his daughter, Lisa Garrett of Barling; four beloved grandchildren: Jeremiah, Malachi, Roman, and Scarlett; along with many friends who will dearly miss him.
A visitation in Willie's honor will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 6, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Sid Ree. Funeral Service under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
